Excitement is brewing at Independent Options as youngsters from the Stockport-based charity help to string garlands together and decorate the hall as the charity prepares for its annual Summer Fair.
To be held on 10 July from 11am to 4pm, the summer fair will see visitors enjoy a special guest appearance from popular TV character Upsy Daisy, as well as a fantastic bouncy castle, face painting, games, delicious treats and refreshments, and much more.
What promises to be a fun-filled day out, the event will raise much needed funds for Independent Options, one of the leading charities for children and adults with disabilities in Stockport.
The fair will be held at the charity’s headquarters at The Pines, 67 Chester Road, Hazel Grove, and entry to the annual event is free.
Fundraising Manager, Lucy Sawdon-Molloy, commented: “Independent Options’ summer fair promises to be a fantastic day out for all the family, with lots of activities and exciting things to see and do. While our events are always a highlight in the calendar, they are also an important way for the charity to raise funds, which are crucial in enabling Independent Options to continue supporting adults and children with disabilities across the area.”
