During August this year as well as our usual activities of Picnics, Parties, movie afternoons and craft sessions we have had lots of exciting visitors… The Challenge NetworkLots of very lovely Teenagers and some coaches from Manchester United came over two days to run football sessions. They liked it here so much that the young people have decided to do their campaign on disability awareness focusing on centres like ours and the work that we do over the next week they are coming in and making bracelets and t-shirts with the children and will also be in Piccadilly Gardens on 23rd September if you want to come and say hello. Animal IntuitionWe had Andrew Grantham aka ‘The Animal Man’ who came along with all his exotic pets including snakes, hedgehogs and tortoises. He is always very popular and this year he didn’t disappoint.
