There’s lots of fun to be had when there’s fireworks to be watched and marshmallows to be toasted, but for some it can be a stressful experience. Here are our tips to enjoying the night.
- 1. Do some prep beforehand, make sure that everyone knows what to expect as there will be loud noises
- 2. If you’re watching the display at a public event, make sure you’re wrapped up warm and have plenty of snacks and hot drinks to hand
- 3. Think about watching from a distance where there’s a bit more room and the fireworks won’t be as noisy
- 4. Alternatively, hold your own fireworks display in your garden! That way, you can enjoy all the home comforts, and pop inside to watch them if it’s too cold or noisy outside
- 5. You could also grab a pair of noise-reducing headphones or ear defenders to take with you if the loud bangs will be a bit too much
- 6. If live fireworks aren’t your thing, why not watch them virtually? There’s lots of displays that you can watch on the TV or online!
